Allison was born and raised in Archer on the outskirts of Gainesville, FL. Allison is a “triple gator”, receiving her bachelor’s, master’s, and juris doctor all from the University of Florida. Allison was a University Scholar and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Health Science. She then completed a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences. Allison completed her Juris Doctor at Levin College of Law graduating Cum Laude with a certificate in Family Law.
While in law school, Allison was a Certified Legal Intern for the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic and was Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution competition team. During her final year of law school, Allison worked in the Public Health Law Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on research to promote and increase access to health care.
After working with underprivileged populations, Allison wanted to pursue a career promoting social justice and zealous advocacy. From her health background, Allison has a passion for making sure veterans receive access to health care and the associated benefits they deserve from serving our country. This led Allison to our team at Hill & Ponton, where she now practices veterans’ disability law.
