Robins Air Force Base
Base Background
Robins Air Force Base was built in 1942 as Warner Robins Army Air Depot. It was renamed Robins Air Force Base in 1948, and military personnel at the site provides logistics support to a variety of Air Force Units. The base is currently the largest industrial complex in the state of Georgia. It’s home to the 78th Air Base Wing and over 60 other units.
